About Six One Hive

Six One Hive didn't start as a business. It started as curiosity.

A few hives. A quiet corner of west Nashville — unusually rural for a city this size — and the slow realization that honey tastes like place. Where the wildflowers blooming across this patch of Davidson County leave a fingerprint in every jar. That's the thing about hyper-local honey: it can't be faked, scaled, or shipped in from somewhere more convenient.

So Six One Hive stayed small on purpose. A handful of hives, one city, one mission — to harvest Nashville's flavor and share it with the people who call this place home. Along the way that's grown into something more: swarm captures, conservation partnerships, and a community of people who believe that paying attention to small things — bees, blooms, neighborhoods — makes a city better.

Raw honey. Real Nashville. Straight from the 615.
